These little tubs of colour are made from the same substance as acrylic nails many of us  familiar with. The main difference is that these gels are thinner than their early counterparts, they're more pliable like a regular polish, giving your nails a natural look. The gel formula bonds with your nail after being set (cured) with a special UV lamp. An added bonus of this treatment is that your not stuck with the colour you choose. The hard outer gel coat can be painted over with regular polish, if you want to change it up!
