Electrolysis is...a process where each individual hair is treated by inserting a fine surgical probe into the follicle of an unwanted hair, then a tiny pulse of energy is transmitted directly into the root of the hair. The hair is then removed (but not pulled). The treatment is repeated over a specified area until the unwanted hair is cleared from the affected area.

In order for electrolysis to have a long term effect on hair growth, you will require a scheduled program of treatments. The course of treatment works by weakening the hair over time, eventually the unwanted hair will stop growing. Everyone is different so the time it actually takes for the hair to stop growing may vary, it depends on many factors such as whether you have tampered with the hair or not by waxing or tweezers etc.

If you would like to know more about this treatment why not ask your therapist on your next visit to our salon.
